Insulation is chosen to match your project, not applied the same way every time. Wood fibre is breathable and regulates moisture well, a strong fit alongside MHM's solid timber walls. Hemp offers similar breathability with a lower footprint to produce. Mineral wool remains the most common choice, valued for fire resistance and sound performance.
We also look beyond these three where a project calls for it. Cork, sheep's wool, and other certified materials can achieve the same result, and we are always open to specifying whichever certified option best fits what your project needs.
