What I wanted was simple. A warm, dry home. Finished in months, not years. Anyone who's spent a winter in Portugal knows how cold and damp a house can get.
So I went back to Estonia. That's my home country, and building in wood there isn't a trend, it's just how things have always been done. Estonia is half forest. Timber runs deep there. I brought that back with me: the factory, the builders, the expertise.
Our crew trained in Finland, Sweden, and Norway. That's some of the strictest building standards in the world. Then we re-engineered it all for Portugal's climate.
